Detail
The Unimat Collection, comprised of Western art, is one of the biggest art collections in Japan. The collector, Takahashi Yoji is the founder of "Unimat Group" which widely deploy business such as office coffee service, nursing care service and resort.
The exhibition introduces about 100 works selected from the collection, focusing on French art of the 19th and the 20th centuries, including the works by Millet, Corot, Renoir, Dufy, Modigliani, Fujita and Lalique. It is the first time that the core works of the collection are exhibited all together. This precious opportunity will make us possible to overlook French modern art thoroughly.
