- Date:
- Jun.04,2005(Sat) - Jul.18,2005(Mon)
Detail
Fukui Ryonosuke (1923-1986), widely known as a Western-style painter, was also one of the leading print artists in postwar Japan. He was recognized as a print artist through creating unique "mimeographic works" of his very own. We are pleased to hold this exhibition focusing on the passage he took as a print artist, via his 120 mimeographic works and 60 references such as his rough sketches that were discovered in conducting our research. And 15 oil paintings will be exhibited exclusively at Iwate venue.
