Detail
Amedeo Modigliani(1884-1920) is an Italian artist who spent most of his career in Paris. He is one outstanding figure of the artists so-called “Ecole de Paris” and is also famous because of his tragic and dramatic life.
The exhibition explores the trace of Modigliani’s own blend of visual techniques learned from the Italian traditions and of the latest art forms seen in his fellow artists, such as Picasso and Brancusi.
Collected from the various museums in the world, we show forty-eight works from his early period to later years to unveil the mysteries of this legendary artist.
